How to tell you have too much crap

Sure, it may only be a year since our official move date of July 2nd, but I just checked, and it was somewhere around the beginning of April that we went out and bought a hundred rubbermaid containers, filled them with our really good stuff crap and stuffed them in this. And that was but a dent in the mad panic to get the old house sold.

We’ve since emptied and sold off quite a few of the bins, but my crap craft room is a haven for the remaining few. Candlemaking, cards, scrapbooking, knitting, sewing, you name it it’s in there. And it’s been in there for over 16 months, packed away, unused. Hey, I even found 5 boxes of paperwork in a mini clean up last week.

And in possibly related news, I’m now ready to file my 2010 and 2011 taxes.
