Now for the other end…

July 20, 2011

Last Thursday hubby and I were on vacation and we decided to take V out of daycare for a hookey day. Hubby decided all hookey days need to start with a cookie, making it an instant win with V. After that bit of silliness was out of the way, we went downtown and caught the end parade of the Changing of the Guard (V’s favorite part).
We then headed over to the locks and watched some of them in operation.

Today is our 15th wedding anniversary, and we’ll be taking V out of school (I forsee more cookies) and heading to the other end of the Rideau Canal to spend the day in Kingston.

Huh, I just realized that in a weird ‘bookend’ sort of coincidence, we bought our first home a month after we were married, and we sold it (final, done, gone, complete) on the 15th of July, 5 days before our 15th anniversary. Hopefully we’ll be in this one for the next 15 years of our marriage.
