It’s official, he’s the fun one
The one thing I really regretted about travelling to Toronto last week was that I was going to miss bringing V to the Disney on Ice show. I’d bought the tickets about a month ago, but had not told her yet as I wanted it to be a SUPER-DUPER SURPRISE!! (yes, that’s how it sounds in my mind).
This was good in a way because if she didn’t know we had plans then this trip wouldn’t have changed them. Changed plans are a BIG deal these days, usually involving lots of drama and tears (for everyone).
I unfortunately don’t have pictures yet, but from the very excited Skype convo Thursday night I can tell you that not only was the show a hit, (with V attending in a princess dress and tiara) but the $15 cotton candy, the $12 sno cone in a tinkerbell cup, the Mickey ears and the $17 light-up princess wand were a SMASH! Seriously.
Given the haul, and knowing I’d never have bought all that super fun stuff, I think hubby has just won himself the title of permanent official escort.
We managed to escape without buying any of those crazy things, thank goodness, and Z. is still talking about how wonderful the show wa.
Yep, I couldn’t believe it. At least we’ve pointed out who scrooge is in our family. And V’s still over the moon, and I don’t think it’s all sugar.
We had a fantastic time too!!! And now I know why the prices weren’t listed anywhere…holy cow that is some expensive sugar 😉
It was crazy! But hubby did point out that we’ll go spend that ($15) on coffee, and she’ll probably get more enjoyment out of the wand. I hate it when he makes sense.
